Well, hello again

I’ve been hiding the blog under a veil of secrecy, mainly writing about my garden and convinced that no-one would find it interesting except me. But times move on and I’ve realised that many of the things that exercised me in the early days of the blog are now whirling back into view.

Eric Pickles is in the news again, so is Andrew Lansley’s reform of the NHS. Arguments about the future of the BBC have never gone away, nor have rows about using consultants in government. The 2024 election campaign even saw a revival of a stick last used to beat Nick Clegg back in the Coalition dark ages.

So welcome back. The gardening stuff will continue. Let’s see if any other perennials re-appear
